About IRIE: Who or what is IRIE?
IRIE is a Jamaican word that means something like:
Everything is just great.
I am happy.
I am ok with the world.
I’m in charge of my life.
Everything is under control.
In essence, one could say IRIE stands for FEELING GOOD, without depending on feelings, in other words, feeling good by
choice.
After visiting Jamaica for the first time in 2006, I was touched by the unity and strength of the Jamaican people.
They have been an example to me ever since in terms of their humanity, their
mature approach to problem solving and their playful love for life.
I founded IRIE Inspiration in 2009 spurred by the Jamaican philosophy that one person can make a difference. I have
modelled all IRIE services around that one central belief, that one person is
important and that everything rises or falls due to one person. That person is
you.
You count. You make the difference.
IRIE exists so you can feel good. Tell others about the site, too. Tell your family, your colleagues and your boss
about this site and let them browse so they can also find some inspiration to
make a difference and improve many more lives.
IRIE has three divisions:
IRIE Career Design – this is for everyone who wants to get ahead in life,
who is interested in improving themselves, their lives and especially their
